About Mike Branch
I have many years of experience (“many” means I’d rather you didn’t do the math) in business systems development, project management and consulting for businesses of all sizes, including a 10-year stint at Microsoft in both their internal IT group as well as the product groups.
Most recently I’ve been working with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and Point of Sale software for small- and medium-sized businesses and retailers. In 2005 I founded White Rabbit Services, Inc. to provide consulting services based on QuickBooks products. I recently rediscovered my love for software development and have become excited about opportunities in the cloud, partly as a result of the huge investment that Intuit (the maker of QuickBooks) has made in QuickBase and the Intuit Partner Platform.
My interest in the cloud isn’t limited to Intuit’s offerings, however. I’m also involved in development on the Force.com platform, and have been exploring the opportunities offered by Google’s App Engine and also by platforms and services hosted by other software companies.
In addition to my work with cloud technologies, I continue to provide consulting and sales for Intuit’s desktop software products through the QuickBooks consulting team at CFO Selections, LLC in Bellevue, WA, and custom software development through White Rabbit Services, Inc. I’ve also worked with several clients to integrate their online stores with QuickBooks or QuickBooks Point of Sale.
